Homeschoolers in New Jersey are not mandated by law to take any examination in order to graduate. Parents in New Jersey are at liberty to include what they find relevant to military, future workplace places and universities when creating their children's transcripts. Homeschooled students in New Jersey meet graduation requirements upon determination by the parent. Homeschooled children in New Jersey meet graduation requirement upon determination by the parent. As a matter of law, compulsory attendance of a student until the age of 16 is required in New Jersey and after that, parents are free to determine the criteria for when the high schooler will receive a diploma.
