Course description

Grade 4 Math Course. This intensive math course is packed with an array of videos and material for 4th grade mathematics nationwide. It focuses on the major concepts found in most national 4th grade math academic curriculum. Not only does it prepare the students to successfully complete the grade 4 math course work but also the students will learn the fundamentals of mathematics needed to move forward to grade 5 math and there after. This course is enriched with hours of teaching and problem- solving videos along with a long list of helpful worksheets and answer keys which all parents are able to access once the course is purchased.

You might ask, what makes this course unlike any other Homeschool video- math course? This course is special because this course gives students an opportunity to learn 4th grade math on his or her terms. Much time and preparation has been put into this course and the instructor, Michelle Alvarez brings fun and enthusiasm in all the videos. Therefore the students will hopefully feel comfortable and enjoy each and every math lesson.

Course Goals

Upon completion of this 4th grade math video- course, the students will be well prepared and ready to move on to grade 5 math. They will have a better grasp on the basics of elementary mathematics. Also the students will be able to apply what they learned in more challenging concepts in higher-grade levels to come. In addition the students will be a well-rounded student, advancing in critical thinking, problem- solving, and assessment. Last but not least, the main goal is to show students that learning math can be fun!

Target Audience

This 4th Grade Math video-course is geared towards students entering the 4th Grade (typically age 9+). Also students in Grade 5 or up can use this course as a review or guide to various basic math subjects. The difficulty level of this course is intermediate to challenging throughout the entire 29-lesson course.

Course Requirements

Students taking this course are strongly suggested to have passable understanding of basic elementary mathematics and/or have previously completed the topics taught in a General Grade 3 Math course.
