This Biology II: Genetics for the 12th Grade course covers advanced content related to Genetics, Evolution, Biodiversity and Conservation. A basic understanding of biology is assumed so that course time can be spent on more unique aspects of the content. Lessons range from the historical context of the theory of evolution to in-depth examination of conservation issues. The content builds throughout the course, emphasizing the importance of conservation for the sake of genetic preservation.  It is an ideal course for students that want a deeper understanding of the importance genetics as it relates to biodiversity.
