COURSE OVERVIEW

Designed for Grades 6-12, this course introduces students to the basic concepts of the Italian language and culture. This course covers all elements of the language, pronunciation, grammar, reading comprehension. Audio- oral skills are favored, being a course for beginners, however, it is intended to develop all four basic language skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing). Students are It is taught in a mix of English and Italian so students will gradually develop an ear for the language without the risk of not understanding. The course also focuses on some important aspects of Italian culture and lifestyle.
