Welcome to Foundational Science for First Grade!

This 1st and 2nd grade science video course will cover all of the content students need to successfully complete 1st grade science. The course has an emphasis on foundational science principals. It both covers the basic public education requirements, but also goes beyond them by preparing students for new topics that are dealt with during 2nd grade.

I am a first grade teacher and a UTC alumni. I enjoy creating an environment that children not only feel safe in, but gain a passion for learning and having fun. First grade is such a special time in a child's life when they are soaking in new experiences, acquiring important knowledge daily, and learning how to have positive social interactions with other children. My joy in teaching is found in building positive relationships with my students and seeing their love for learning flourish with engagement and action-based learning in the classroom.
