Hello. The answer is yes, homeschoolers can have access to a few school services in Illinois. In Illinois the public school system is obligated by law to provide certain services to students. Homeschooled students can participate in extracurricular activities of the local school whenever there is a chance as well as other academic programs they may choose. Parents must make a request to the local school in his/her district before May 1st to find out whether the child will be eligible to participate in the upcoming school year.
Thanks, I appreciate your response.

Do homeschoolers in Illinois have access to school services in Melrose Park, Illinois? If you can share any opinions on the program and a particular homeschool Illinois group are welcome too. Can someone point me in the correct direction?
