Homeschool question. Can someone help?

Hi moms and dads!homeschool-placer I have realized that they system will try to keep you playing along for as long as they can. Is the parent homeschooling the student required to be certified as a teacher in California? Any ideas or suggestions is appreciated.

Greetings. Yes, you are permitted to homeschool your boy in Los Angeles, California. For you to homeschool, California law doesn't require you to be certified to teach. You probably may want to have a look at the following page which provides specific facts about California homeschool laws and regulations:
