Most definitely. You are allowed to homeschool your children in Barry County, Michigan. Having said this, make sure you follow the conditions required to homeschool in Barry County, Michigan. As it turns out, homeschooling in Michigan has been considered one of the most lenient and straightforward places to homeschool in the country as it requires very little government oversight. Parents are at liberty to choose many of the things they deem fit for their student to study. A parent/guardian or person(s) teaching a child elsewhere than at school is not required by law to be licensed as a teacher in Michigan. However, using curriculum developed by a state certified or licensed teachers is highly recommended even if the teacher is not a Michigan teacher. You have two options to homeschool in Michigan.
