Hi! Parents in Texas get to determine when their homeschooled student will graduate and proceed to issue the student a diploma upon graduation. Homeschoolers in Texas are not required by law to take any test in order to graduate. Families in Texas are at liberty to include what they deem pertinent to military, future workplace organizations and universities when creating their students' transcripts. Homeschooled students in Texas meet graduation requirements upon determination by the parent. All fifty states including Texas allow a parent to issue a homeschool diploma for their own child. Employers in Texas are not allowed to discriminate against a homeschool diploma or give preference to a candidate whose diploma issued by a public school. Many colleges and universities in Texas and elsewhere actively make an effort to recruit homeschooled students. Feel free to write back if you need other homeschool help.

Homeschoolers in Texas are subjected to the same requirements as students in public school.
