Course Description
This course will cover different methods of solving systems of equations. It will start with basic two variable systems and progress to three variable systems. The three variable systems of equations will be the majority of the course. Two methods will be taught and reviewed. You will also see applications of systems of equations through word problems. The course will end with a brief introduction for matrices, another application for systems of equations.
Course Goals
Upon completion, the student will have an understanding of how to solve systems of equations using a variety of different methods. The student will also understand how to apply solving systems of equations to real-world problems.
