General Information
This useful and fun course focuses on the verbs that are easy to mix up in daily conversations. Each lesson of the course deals with a different pair of verbs, such as “Do” vs. “Make,” and “Say” vs. “Tell” to help learners distinguish between very similar verbs that are used in different contexts.
We will talk about the basic meaning of verbs, their grammar, their context, useful tips, and play games to help speakers memorize the rules better. We will also discuss the fixed expressions or idioms associated with these tricky verbs.
Almost each lesson consists of several parts, but you will also have access to helpful exercise sheets and additional videos! Please join me for this exciting Confusing Verbs adventure, which will lead you to become more coherent and accurate speakers!
Who is this course for?
The course is primarily meant for speakers with an intermediate to advanced level of English as well as professionals who use English for work purposes.
What is included in the course?
Ten video lessons, each of which consists of 1 to 3 parts (3.3 hours of video!), ten Exercise Sheets (on average 4-5 pages) and Video Reviews of Exercises to compliment the lessons, and short tests to check your knowledge before you move on to the following lesssons.
